SEO Case Study

 

We took on the project to get www.midlandsfloors.co.uk the top of the search engines (primarily Google.co.uk) for a number of Geo specific keywords. The originally were askind for under 100 keywords (eg Hardwood Flooring Birmingham) but after we did some extra reasearch found the potential for just under 1,000 different keywords.

 

We then set together a number of plans for not only raising the SERP but also getting traffic from a variety of locations. Firstly we researched keywords and created a list of 984 that we were going to aim to get on the first page for. Then we reasearched their main competitors to analyse what they were doing well and how we could improve.

 

After working on the website we have now achieved the following rankings on Google.co.uk

 

1st Result - 569 Keywords

Top 3 - 675 Keywords

Top 5 - 721 Keywords

Top 10 - 1,067 Keywords

 

The reason there are more than the targeted 984 in the top ten is because on some keywords we have more than one page listed.

 

We also have managed they PPC campaign with Google Adwordsand have managed to increase their visits by 15% but reduced their monthly spend by 25% - this was through keyword reasearch, advanced bidding, Ad Text Optimization and Geo Targeting.

Following the Success of MidlandsFloors.co.uk we have taken on 2 more websites from the same company in 2 different areas - after three months work the results are displayed below.
